Real Housewives of Miami?

YES YES YES! Bravo Network will be premiering RHMIA on February 22nd 10 pm Eastern time.  Based on the history of the Real Housewives series I'm sure we can only expect more fiery personalities and drama galore!  When news of DC Housewives series came about I was pretty skeptical.  I thought for sure it would be lame. I was wrong.  I was as addicted to watching that series as I am with the New Jersey series (NJ being my favorite).

Cast includes Larsa Pippen (married to Scottie Pippen), Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Lea Black, Cristy Rice, and Adriana DeMoura-Sidi.  Welcome to Bravo series and I cannot wait to see what this series has in store! Til next time.

Texas Collection by OPI

Can I just tell you how BEYOND EXCITED I am about this collection?  I'm probably going to buy every single color just because it is themed after my state.  Yes, I am a very proud Texan.  I'm not only excited because it's Texas themed but the colors are just gorgeous!  From a brown nude to bright pinks and an orange color.  You have to check out this collection because it is out TODAY! Heading to my local ULTA tomorrow to pick up the colors. It is a fabulous week for beauty because MAC'S Wonder Woman collection will be out in stores on Thursday. Possibly a haul post coming? Til next time!

Product Review: got split ends?

I know I've been neglecting my blog but I have a really good reason! I was getting myself ready to take my real estate licensing exam and all that prep paid off because I passed...YAYAYAYAY!!!

Anyway, on to the REAL reason why I'm writing this blog post.  I picked up Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Split End Mender a few weeks ago at ULTA while out shopping with my mom.  The short description on the bottle says "treats dry split ends and protects from future damage" and it is for dry, over-processed, or color treated hair.  While I don't have color treated hair, I do put alot of heat to my hair either using a flat iron, rollers, or a curling iron (yes, I like to use hot rollers still!).  The bottle is a 3.0 fluid ounces and I believe it cost around $5-6.  You can use it on dry or damp hair.  But keep in mind this product is meant for the ends of your hair!  And the product is pretty liquid-y.  If that's a word.

Now my experience with this product has been completely positive.  It has a pleasant smell and I have noticed a difference in the strength of my hair.  My ends feel alot smoother and I feel better about styling with heat since it protects from future heat damage (only time will tell for that :)).  I did get about 2 inches cut off my hair recently but my hair still needed some TLC.  I've used it with my hair wet and dry.  One pet peeve of mine is using a product in dry hair and it leaving a yucky feeling residue and I'm happy to report this product doesn't do that!  Yaaay!  Same goes with using it with wet hair. No residue.  (I have an awful habit of playing with my hair so I'm well versed in this.)  Then you go about styling your hair as normal.

Overall, I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who needs to give their hair a little TLC without having to spend alot.  Plus, it's nice since it is still winter time and just like your skin, your hair needs to stay moisturized. Everybody wants pretty hair, right? :)
